Wii U Launch Pitted Against The Launch Of PS3, 360, and Wii ★ Wii U Sales Update 4 ☆ Wii U Sold More Shooters Per Console Than PS3 or Wii

Welcome to the forth weekly Wii U sales update--once again a few weeks late. Sorry for taking so long to post this, I had problem after problem, I hope this post--and the launch comparison--makes it worth the wait! The reason some games (and the console itself) have lower total sales numbers than they did last week is because VGChartz redid the sales database.

My opinion:

Hasn't been a good last few weeks, but I don't think it can get any worse than this, so that's good I guess. As for how it's been doing compared to the 360, PS3, and Wii overall. Pretty good, it's not some "god like" console combining the third-party game sales of the 360 and the hardware and first-party sales of the Wii, but it's doing a good job of doing a mix of both. I'm now more confident that the Wii U will get more AAA M-rated third-party support than the Wii, while selling a ton of consoles.
