That's 37,000 unit's that wouldn't have been sold in Japan without Pikmin 3, add the European sales and you get 40,000 extra Wii U's sold worldwide (not counting the US sales--which should be pretty good as Pikmin is quite popular here--as we don't have them yet). It may not sound like much, but when you consider how bad the Wii U has been doing and how niche Pikmin is, it's pretty good.
