In a interview with Edge, the anti-Nintendo analyst Michael Pachter said, "Activision never said anything to me, but I know that [for] big games like Call Of Duty they said, 'No, we're not putting it on there if you don't give us a conventional controller'. So they gave in."
Sorry, Michael Pachter, I don't trust you. AT. ALL. How do you "know" this if Activision never said anything to you? Did you know Activision puts Call Of Duty on almost anything? Whether it be a PC, an HD console (Xbox 360 and PS3), a Nintendo DS, a PlayStation Portable, the Wii, an iPhone, or a BlackBerry, you name it. I doubt they hate the screen so much that they would require Nintendo to make this. . .
. . . in order for them to put Call of Duty on the Wii U. While this. . .
. . . can do everything the Wii U Pro Controller can, plus more. For one thing, with the Wii U GamePad you don't need to buy a headset to play online, instead you can use the built-in Mic and speakers (or you can plug a pair of ear buds into the headphone jack)! The only thing the Wii U Pro Controller is good for is local multi-player games and fighting games like Street Fighter or Tekken (where it can be distracting).
Hmmmm...this is exactly what I was going to say; almost word for word in fact. And no surprise; Sideshow Pacther made it up. Nintendo is not going to back down from a third party publisher in North America, not even EA. I mean; if they did back down (highly unlikely I might add) it was Namco-Bandai; because at least N-B Tekken developers have said that the Wii U Gamepad is more difficult to work with since it's a free forming screen and not fixed like the 3DS. Even if people entertain the thought of this; from what I heard, Nintendo had planned this just like they planned the Classic Controller (both of them) for Wii.
ReplyDeleteMichael: Your track record is probably lower than Cleo the fortune teller and that is saying something.
